Barrel Of Monkeys Christian Academy is by far the only daycare in Parker County that I trust. My husband and I searched several daycares around Weatherford, Hudson Oaks, and Willow Park and I would cry everytime I walked into each daycare knowing I was running out of time and I was going to have to leave my son in the care of a complete stranger. My first experience with our first daycare was not a good one. When I received a phone call from Brandi stating she had an opening, I could have not been more relieved! Prior to enrolling my son, I visited the Academy and with Brandi. As soon as I walked in I felt at ease. I can honestly say my son is having the best care and the best overall preschool experience. My daughter has been going for over a year now and absolutely loves it! She is always clean and the center is clean at all times as well. My grandson attends Barrel Of Monkeys Christian Academy and I couldn't be more pleased with the director Brandi Swelling, the staff, and even the facility itself! When I visit or pick up my grandson, the facility is always clean and everything in order. The children are always in control, clean, and very well mannered! My grandson is almost three and knows his colors, shapes, ABC's, several songs, and several prayers. The best part is the pictures posted of the children on the Academy's private Facebook page so I can see my grandson doing his school activities such as; seatwork, singing, eating, napping, even various videos. I personally feel this is an excellent facility and they go above and beyond to give all the little monkeys excellent care. They love their little ones and their little ones love them! -Linda H
I highly recommend Barrel Of Monkeys Christian Academy! Our son has attended for nearly two years and we wouldn't have it any other way. Ever since attending, we have seen a tremendous improvement in his interactions with other children, overall behavior, and educational growth. They keep parents in the loop, post videos and pictures through a private portal to show their daily activities, and provide evidence of classwork completed throughout the week. The lessons are fun and interactive and playtime has created bonds and friendships for our son. They have created a sense of community for both children and parents and cherish every single one of us. Best of all, they teach and practice great Christian principles that more schools should provide! We have been a part of Barrel Of Monkeys Christian Academy for a little over a year now. We heard nothing but good things about Barrel Of Monkeys Christian Academy and the Director Brandi Swelling, so we came in for a tour and loved it! Unfortunately there was a waiting list! After a year we received the phone call that there was an opening and we immediately withdrew our son from his current school and enrolled him at Barrel Of Monkeys Christian Academy. This is he best decision we have ever made! Barrel Of Monkeys Christian Academy has expanded our sons knowledge more than we could have ever imagined, his academic level has broadened tremendously in such a short amount of time! Their patience, determination, and dedication to him and the other children shows! My son attended Barrel Of Monkeys Christian Academy for around eight months and it was the best care we have ever received for him. They are loving and nurturing and actually care about all of their children! The center was always clean and well kept. He loved it as much as we did. We only left due to being able to stay home with the children. I would recommend Barrel Of Monkeys Christian Academy to anyone and everyone! I chose Barrel Of Monkeys Christian Academy over five other preschools I visited due to the warmth of the environment. One of the students at the preschool had a family member pass away and the Director, Brandi Swelling, went above and beyond to help the family in their time of loss, arranging families at the Academy to provide meals!
